Masked Men Attack an Ahmadi Woman in Rabwah — Who Gave the Order?

Rabwah is presented to the outside world as the spiritual heart of the Ahmadiyya Jamat — a place of mosques, missionary training, and the Jamat's central offices. But a video that surfaced this week shows a different side of it: the aftermath of a broad day attack on a woman's home, carried out by a group of masked men. According to this week's Zaitoon Khabar Nama, which says it holds documentary proof and the names of everyone involved, the attack wasn't a random act of crime — it was ordered by a local Murabb, Asif Adeem.

What the video shows

The footage shows a home in disarray — furniture broken, belongings scattered — consistent with a forced entry rather than a burglary. The woman who recorded it (victim's sister)  says the men who broke in were masked, they looted her sister's Gold Belongings and that this was not the first time she had been targeted: AK Sheikh says states she had previously been abducted and tortured.

Who's been named

The program names Khalid Shah — brother of Sabuhi Begum and brother-in-law of current Khalifa Mirza Masroor Ahmad — as the person on whose orders the attack was carried out, describing it as executed through Rabwah's "Shoba Umumi." Also named in connection with the matter:

• Akbar Adni — Nazir Jaidad (property officer)
• Saleemuddin — Shoba umomi officer
• Mirza Fazal Ahmed — Nazir Taleem (education officer)

AK Sheikh states on record that he has phone numbers, names, and documentation identifying who allegedly struck the woman, who abducted her, and who placed her in a vehicle, and has publicly invited any of the named individuals to contact him directly to dispute the claim. He also describes receiving a call from someone objecting to the naming of Khalid Shah and Qasim Shah — and says that when he asked the caller whether they had firsthand knowledge disproving the allegation, the caller could not answer.

The abusive language

The same murabbi is also heard, in a separate clip, using extremely vulgar and abusive language directed at the woman. The contrast the program draws is a pointed one: this is the same Jamat, and in some cases the same individual, whose public messaging centers on "Love For All, Hatred For None."

What's being demanded

Sheikh states plainly that if the woman is harmed again, responsibility will rest directly with Khalifa Mirza Masroor Ahmad as head of the Jamat, and says he intends to escalate the matter to the notice of both the Pakistani and British governments if no action is taken.

As of this writing, none of the individuals named have publicly responded to these allegations.

Why this matters

Allegations like this are hard to look away from precisely because of who's involved: not outsiders, but people inside the Jamat's own administrative structure, in a city built around the institution itself. Whatever the outcome, the questions this raises are simple ones — who has the authority to order something like this, what oversight exists to stop it, and what happens to a member who has nowhere else to turn.
