Also known as A.K. Shaikh, his family roots go back to the resident families of Qadian that were established in Qadian before the claims of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.

A Life Within the Ahmadiyya Community:

AK Sheikh spent over 50 years within the Ahmadiyya community, a significant portion of his life dedicated to the teachings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. His family had a strong connection to the movement, with both his parents being closely aligned with Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. In fact, his grandmother was part of the so-called 313 Sahaba of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, an honor given to a select group of followers by the founder of the Ahmadiyya movement. AK Sheikh’s father was personally named by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani.

The Catalyst for Change: An Administrative Clash that Sparked a Quest for Truth

The turning point in AK Sheikh’s journey began not with a deep-seated ideological clash, but rather an administrative disagreement with the National Amir of Jamaat Ahmadiyya in Canada. Initially, this was a matter of internal differences, but it prompted Sheikh to reevaluate the foundation of his beliefs. He began questioning whether the teachings he had followed for decades were truly in line with the Quran. His curiosity led him to read the Quran alongside the writings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. As he compared the two, he soon realized that many of Mirza’s claims contradicted the core teachings of the Quran. This realization marked the beginning of his deeper investigation, eventually leading to his conclusion that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s claims were un-Quranic, which ultimately caused him to leave the Ahmadiyya movement.

The Advocate for Truth and Awareness

After leaving the Ahmadiyya community, AK Sheikh embarked on a mission to raise awareness about the issues he had encountered. His journey was not just personal; it was a mission to help others understand the reality behind the claims of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. His campaign began at a time when nobody was willing to speak up about these issues, especially on internet. Remember this was the pre-social media era. It was not as easy as today to raise your voice online.

AK Sheikh was the first person to launch a website for addressing the issues withing Ahmadiyya Community. He started NakedAhmadi.com to address the challenges and contradictions within the Ahmadiyya movement. Unfortunately, his blog was hacked by members of the Ahmadiyya community, and all his content was lost. But this setback did not deter him. AK Sheikh continued his mission, undeterred and unwavering, with a renewed sense of purpose.

A Firm Stance Against False Claims

AK Sheikh is known for his firm rejection of the claims made by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani. What sets him apart from others is his methodical approach to debunking these claims. Sheikh doesn’t rely on hearsay or vague accusations; instead, he presents evidence directly from the books and writings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani himself. His approach is not about mere criticism, but about revealing the truth with facts and evidence.

He has consistently shown that his claims are not baseless or driven by malice. He has even challenged the leadership of the Ahmadiyya community, openly stating that if anyone from the top leadership believes he is lying, they are welcome to sue him in court. Yet, history is a witness to the fact that no such challenge has ever been made in a court of law. AK Sheikh’s claims remain unchallenged, and his integrity remains unquestioned.

One of the most remarkable aspects of AK Sheikh’s campaign is his unwavering respect for the confidentiality of his sources within the Ahmadiyya community.
