As a Muslim, I am deeply troubled by the recent comments made by Humza Yousaf, the First Minister of Scotland, regarding gay sex. In an interview, Yousaf stated that he does not believe that gay sex is a sin, which has caused a significant chaos within the Muslim community. For Muslims, the teachings of the Quran and Hadith are the foundation of our faith. These teachings are clear in their stance on homosexuality, which is considered one of greatest sins in Islam.The act of gay sex is against the principles of the Quran, and it is therefore disappointing to hear a high-profile "Muslim" politician publicly dismiss these teachings.
